We think we've brought together an amazing group of people; for us community and experience are absolutely why we do what we do.

British Polo Day established its global network with 84 events in 16 countries spread across 15 years in 5 continents, raising over $2.8mUSD so far for good causes in the process, with a Partner base characterised by best in class across the board.
At the end of 2019 - the 10th anniversary year - the fortuitously timed move to one flagship event a year was made.
The purpose remains the same. To build deep and longstanding relationships with some of the world’s most dynamic and most interesting individuals, through distinct experiences hosted in iconic and esoteric destinations. To bring fascinating people into the fold and in such a way that is increasingly now sparking wider interactions that span a range of passion points and opportunities for BPD’s parent company Britannia Elevation and the wider community.
“If we want things to stay as they are, things will have to change.”
– The Leopard, by Giuseppe Tomasi di Lampedusa
This famous line, from a perennial favourite book, neatly defines the paradox inherent in how British Polo Day maintains – and hopefully improves upon – charm & allure year-on-year.

Networking is turning up at a picnic with a knife & fork, relationship building is turning up with a coronation chicken. BPD was founded to contribute and this has remained foremost ever since. Everything else follows on.
